It has recently been realised that Bayern will not be doing any business this January, as Ancelotti feels that his current side is more than capable of doing the business for him this season. As a result, the bavarians are looking forward to the summer transfer window, where it seems Bayern are looking to cash in on two players from the same Bundesliga side as they look to raid one of their League rival’s squads.
According to rumours which have been circulating today, Bayern Munich have already agreed a fee with Bundesliga club TSG Hoffenheim to sign two of their star players – 21 year old Niklas Sule and 26 year old Sebastian Rudy.
Bayern had already been expressing interesting Sule, as the player has been impressing with his consistent defensive performances so far this season, despite just being 21 years of age. As a result, Bayern had been tracking to man as he was a proven success when it comes to Bundesliga defending.
However, it seems now that Bayern wish to acquire the services of versatile midfielder Sebastian Rudy in the transfer as well, as the players contract is set to expire in the summer, and it is likely that the player will leave on a free. As a result, it seems quite likely that the pair will be heading from Hoffenheim to Bayern together once the season comes to an end. Hoffenheim have stated they are not willing to sell either player in January, but it seems that both could be set to leave just a few months later.
We’re all very aware that their is a lot of speculation surrounding the future of Austrian international David Alaba at Bayern of late, as the player has been the subject of significant interest from some of Europe’s other top sides.
It has been rumoured that the player could be pried away from Bayern for a fee of around £40 million, and as a result, the likes of Real Madrid, Manchester City and Manchester United have all been keeping tabs on the player, as it seems that the player could be available to any of them come the summer.
Alaba is considered one of the world’s best left backs, and consistently puts in some tremendous service for Bayern, keeping up with his defensive duties, as well as playing a great part in Bayern’s unrelenting forward play. And although many may be worried that Bayern might lose one of their prized assets, the player has spoken out on the speculation, stating that ideally he would like to stay at the club.
“Everyone can imagine to stay at Bayern until the end of his career. It’s a special club!”
“I feel very, very happy and have grown up here since 2008.”
However, Alaba is also aware that this decision may be somewhat out of his hands, as if the right offer comes in from the right club, then Bayern may see that money talks and be willing to sell the player, as the full back goes on:
“But I can not predict the future.”
Either way, we can certainly enjoy his performances for Bayern until at least the summer, as the player remains a fundamental player in Carlo Ancelotti’s squad.
Bayern Munich often look to try and sign the best and brightest of footballs youngest talents, and there is no change there with their latest target. The side are currently seemingly on the look out for a central midfielder, perhaps due to the age of Xabi Alonso, as the player is likely to retire in the next few years. As a result, they have been linked with the likes of PSG’s Rabiot and Veratti, and more lately, with a younger name – that of Amine Harit.
The player, currently at Ligue 1 side Nantes, has made a break into the world of first team football this season and seems to be thriving at the age of just 19. As a result, the player has been attracting attention from the likes of AC Milan, Liverpool and PSG, as well as Bayern Munich.
As a result Bayern may have to pay quite the premium on the player, and with him being contracted at Nantes until 2019, it is likely Bayern will not be able to swoop in for the player immediately. However, he is certainly one for Carlo Ancelotti to keep in mind as Bayern look to bolster their squad in the centre of the pitch.

Eric Dier has only really become well known in the footballing world over the past couple of years, as the player made a break through the ranks of Tottenham into the side’s first team where he played a key role as a defensive midfielder in an impressive season for the Spurs during the 2015/16 campaign.
And although the player is still consistently featuring in the side, and Tottenham are still performing well, having only lost 2 of their 15 games in the Premier League this season, it seems not is all as rosey as many would expect when it comes to Dier.
Despite having had a fundamental role in the side from midfield from much of the previous season, with the position proving to be the player’s favoured role, it seems that the player is becoming frustrated as he has had to fill in in central defense for much of the current season, a position where the player feels is limiting his development. At the age of just 22, the English international has already shown a lot of promise, and feels that by playing in the centre of defense, he is not progressing into a top footballer – something that he feels he can do with continued and consistent game time in midfield.
As a result, although the player has not yet complained or pushed for a move away from Tottenham, it seems that the player will reconsider in the summer if things do not change for him. As a result, Bayern Munich and a few other clubs have been monitoring the situation of the player very carefully.
With the likes of Chelsea also interested, Dier would have the pick of the bunch, but it seems that Bayern Munich are very much considered favourites to sign the player if he decided to move on from the club, having already made an enquiry about him in the previous transfer window. Furthermore, it is unlikely that the player would have much of an issue moving abroad, something that not many English players do, as he played the beginning of his career in Portugal and so will be used to the adaptations required. With this in mind, as well as the fact that Tottenham would not want to sell the player to a rival London club, Dier could end up moving to Bavaria in the coming months. We shall have to wait and see.
With Athletico Madrid, and more namely Griezmann, often proving a problem for Bayern Munich, having defeated them both this season, and having knocked them out of the Champions League last season. As a result, it seems that Bayern Munich have come to respect Athletico to say the least, and in more certain terms, have become extremely interested in the case of that one player – Antoine Griezmann.
The French forward is undoubtedly the Spanish side’s key player when it comes to their attacking play, and has recently been in contention for this years Ballon D’or. As a result of his strong performances of which we are all aware, Bayern Munich have become extremely interested in acquiring his services.
It it seems luck may be in for Bayern, as just this week the Frenchman came out in admiration for the Bundesliga as a league, stating he was a fan of the leagues competitiveness. These are certainly good signs for Bayern, even if they are just some straws to clutch at. And whilst Ancelotti has come out stating that he has no intention of signing anybody during the January transfer window, as well as wanting to be reunited with a certain Marco Veratti as Ancelotti was impressed by the player during his time at PSG, it seems that Griezmann is the prime target for Bayern in the summer months.
And for those few who are unaware of Griezmann and what he is capable of, below is a short highlights clip showing you some of the young strikers best bits over the past few years:
With Zlatan Ibrahimovic now 35 years of age, it seems that the towering striker is nearing the end of his career, as the player is likely to see out the rest of his years at Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United. And although it is certain that there is only one Zlatan Ibrahimovic, as the player has shown his class on of the world’s stages, the closest thing to him seems to have emerged of late in yet another Swedishman.
So, who is this player that is getting the plaudits of pundits by being tipped as the next Ibra? Well, the player is a 17 year old who goes by the name of Alexander Isak.
The player has apparently been dubbed as such due to his physical presence and stature. Standing at 6ft 3in, it seems that he has been attracting the eye of many of Europe’s top clubs of late, with the likes of Real Madrid, Chelsea and our very own Bayern Munich all interested in the player.
However, with Madrid seemingly the favourites to sign the player, who have apparently already had a £7 million rejected, Bayern will have to get a move on if they are to sign the player.
He certainly wouldn’t appear to be the worst signing in the world, as Isak scored 13 goals in 29 appearances this year in Sweden’s Allsvenskan.
It seems that Bayern are yet to name any players that they are after with the January transfer window fast approaching. With the club having shown minor interest in a whole multitude of players, however, it seems that nothing has substantially formed for the Bavarians as of yet.
The latest player that Bayern were rumoured to be looking at was Julian Draxler, much to the delight of fans, as the player is looking to make a move away from Wolfsburg in an attempt to get in on Champions League action. However, it seems that Bayern’s manager Carlo Ancelotti has put the excitement to bed almost as quickly as it had arose, stating that Bayern will not be looking to sign the player:
“Draxler is a very interesting player. Full stop.”
“He can play in any team. Our team is complete. We won’t do anything in winter – there’s no market for us.” Via beinsports.com
Therefore, it not only seems that Bayern will be unwilling to sign Draxler in January, but the side are not looking to bolster the squad in any way in January, as Ancelotti is happy with the personal he currently has at his disposal, and feels it is adequate in fulfilling his needs.
Although this will be good from a financial stand point as Bayern will be able to use the funds to resign certain players whos contracts are set to expire, as well as leaving more money available to the side in January. However, with Bayern having under performed so far this season, currently sitting in 2nd place in the Bundesliga and having qualified 2nd in their Champions League group, many were hoping for a new face or two to be brought in to help Bayern get back to their best. However, with it seeming that this will not be the case, it will be up to the existing squad to turn this around.
Julian Draxler is undoubtedly one of the stars of the Bundesliga – the player has spent his whole career in the league, and despite countless offers coming in for him from the Premier League and elsewhere, the player has remained part of German football. And with it seeming the Draxler plans on seeing out his footballing days in the Bundesliga, having failed to take up any of the opportunities to move abroad, Bayern Munich have become keen on acquiring the players services – they, after all, have a better chance than most of signing the player.
Because Draxler has so much proven quality, it seems that Wolfsburg may be forced to sell the player in January, as Draxler evidently is looking to play at the highest level, particularly in the Champions League. And it seems that Bayern have become more and more interested in the player as it has become apparent that he may be available at a cheaper price than first expected.

With Draxler having shown consistent quality over the past few years, still only at the age of 23, the player seems a solid investment for any club, and Bayern may be considered the front runners for signing the player, as they could be the ideal option for the player to move to, particularly with it looking likely that Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben set to leave the club in the next couple of years.
Mesut Ozil is truly an impressive player, we are all aware of this. Since his move from Real Madrid, where he also regularly featured in one of Europe’s top sides, midfielder has really laid down a marker at Arsenal in the Premier League, consistently picking out his teammates and orchestrating attacking moves, as well as adding plenty of goals to his game. And as a result, naturally, some of Europe’s top clubs have become increasingly interested in the player, particularly the likes of Real Madrid and our very own Bayern Munich.
Ozil currently has 18 months left on his contract, and with Arsenal hoping to keep the player at the club, the player has not warmed the gunners hearts as he is still yet to sign a new contract with the club. And the longer this goes on, the more predatory the likes of Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are becoming, as can the opportunity of acquiring the player coming ever closer.
It seems for Arsenal, the only stumbling block is negotiating wages with the player, as it seems Ozil is happy at the club. However, with the demands and negotiations being dragged out longer than many would expect, it seems that both Bayern and Real Madrid have heard what the player is asking for in terms of wages and both are willing to offer them.
Arsenal have reportedly been offering Ozil £200,000 a week as a maximum – a pretty good pay rise, even for Ozil. However, with many of the Premier Leagues highest paid players earning almost double this, it seems that Ozil wants in on the extra funds, reportedly demanding a huge £384,000 a week!
With all the money in football these days, its hard to say that these figures are obscene, but i guess sometimes money talks for players, even if they are already earning more in a week than what most of us earn in a year…
Bayern Munich looking to young talent has been a common theme so far this season, largely because some of the clubs all time greats are on the verge of retirement in the likes of Lahm, Ribery, Robben and Xabi Alonso. As a result, Bayern have been looking to the likes of Andreas Christensen and Moussa Dembele of late, and now their is another youngster that the club have set their sights upon.
With the Greek champions Olympiakos set to play Swiss side Young Boys in the Europa League tonight, Bayern Munich scouts are set to be sent to the match to keep an eye on the Greek under-19 international, Panagiotis Retsos. The 18 year old has been attracting a lot of attention of late, having recently been scouted by Arsenal, Manchester United and Genoa in games gone by, and it now seems that Bayern Munich are joining in with the scouting.
The player is just 18, and is considered to have great potential, but with the player contracted to the Greek side until 2021, it might be difficult to pry the player away from Olympiakos who will want to keep hold of their wonder kid for as long as possible.
